BlackBerry Playbook for $199

Did you think the only tablet available for under $200 was Amazon Kindle Fire? For a limited time you can get a BlackBerry Playbook for $199 or less at Staples, Walmart, and other participating locations. RIM's Playbook was launched back in April for $499, however due to slow sales RIM is forced in reducing the price of the tablet drastically to make it look more attractive to buyers.

Both BlackBerry Playbook and Kindle Fire are 7" Tablets with similar if not same hardware specifications. Major difference between the two is Playbooks runs on RIM's QNX Operating System compared to Kindle Fire running on highly modified Android OS.

With Playbook still lacking some critical features like Native Email Support it will be interesting to see how much sales does the reduced price tag generate for RIM. Are you more like to buy BlackBerry Playbook or Kindle Fire for $199?
