Research in Motion has been struggling ever since they launched their tablet, Playbook. Recently they also announced a delay to their much anticipated OS upgrade. This week they announced a limited time special offer for their business customers. Buy 2 get 1 free.
Reports suggests BlackBerry only shipped 500,000 Playbooks compared to Apple selling about $40 million of their tablets, iPad. RIM's latest effort to bolster sales along with giving 1 free tablet with the purchase of 2 tablets they will also give away a premium accessory; leather sleeve, charging pod, or a HDMI cable with the purchase.
With BB Playbook still lacking features like native email support I am not sure if this buy 2 get 1 free deal is enough to lure business customers.
