Google Offers Expanding

After a unsuccessful bid to buy Groupon for $6 Billion, Google launched its own rival site called Google Offers.  Google Offers currently serves 19 cities across US and has plans to expand to at least another 23 cities in the near future.

Google Offers recently signed up 14 new deal providers as their partner. This partnership will help Google offer  more products and services in additional markets. Lately Google has been moving aggressively in the group deals space.

There are many companies like Groupon and LivingSocial already established in this arena and other players like Facebook and Yelp after months of development dropped the idea of offering similar services. However, as of now Google still seems to be in the race.
